Cigna Resiliency Training Video Series

Problem:

Cigna faced a challenge in effectively educating employees about data resiliency, as existing resources were overly technical and difficult for a general audience to comprehend. This knowledge gap left employees ill-equipped to implement best practices, potentially compromising the organization's ability to maintain resilient data systems.

The organization needed to train its employees on the critical topic of data resiliency but faced challenges in effectively engaging and educating them. Existing resources were technical and difficult to understand for a broader audience, leading to a gap in employee awareness of best practices for maintaining data resilience.

Task:

Our team was tasked with designing a training solution that simplified complex concepts, engaged employees, and provided actionable insights into data resiliency practices.

Action:

We developed an animated video series that broke down the concept of data resiliency into digestible segments. Using scenario-based examples, industry definitions, and best practices, the series made the topic accessible and relatable. The use of animation enhanced engagement and retention while clearly illustrating abstract ideas.

Result:

The training videos successfully bridged the knowledge gap, leading to improved employee understanding of data resiliency for over 10,000 Cigna employees. The accessible format and actionable examples empowered employees to adopt best practices, strengthening the organization’s overall approach to data resilience.
