Overview:

A read-along audiobook player built for bimodal reading, where seeing and hearing the same words together improves retention and comprehension. I drop in a PDF, EPUB, or Word document and Lectio reads it aloud while the text scrolls in step, keeping the current word centred on screen. I can click any word to jump there, change the voice and speed, and pick up where I left off. A pronunciation dictionary corrects the names and terms that speech engines get wrong.
